URBAN MINISTRIES:  Want to help serve our neighbors in Durham?  St. Paul will be serving lunch on these Saturdays in 2018:  May 26; July 28; Sept 22; Nov 24. Please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.  If you sign up and cannot serve, please help us by finding a replacement volunteer.   We meet at 11am at Urban Ministries, 410 Liberty St, Durham, NC.  Contact Wayne Davis, 919-317-1964. Church Charge Conference:  Sunday June 3rd, 4pm at Duke’s Chapel.  Rev. Jessie Larkins will preside.  We will be approving the new Pastor compensation package for July 1. This is in line with pg. 246.7 of the Book of Discipline.  Everyone should attend.

Mr. Darius E. Moore, Family Recruitment Specialist for the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina will be presenting information regarding Foster Care & Adoption opportunities on Friday, June 22nd at 6:30pm in Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse. All are welcome to come and hear more about the children in our community who need us!

Playground:  The Colonial Village Neighborhood Association has received a grant from the City of Durham to assist with signage and promotion of our new ‘Village Playground at St. Paul’.  We have committed volunteer hours as part of the grant. We are asking for your help with this last event to introduce the Playground to our neighborhood:
• Saturday, June 16th, from 9a – 11a:  Morning Brunch  with juice, coffee and pastries

Wednesday Evening Community Worship 6:30 pm Coffee and Fellowship 7:00 pm  Worship Service  @ Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse.  Come and enjoy a great cup of coffee, great music, teaching and fellowship! You belong here!  Invite your friends!

All-Church Breakfast is the 5th Sunday at 9am!  All are invited! On these particular Sundays, there will be no Sunday School.  Remaining 2018 dates:  July 29 –  September 30  –  December 30

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is now available in Durham!  Children will receive one high-quality, developmentally-appropriate book delivered to their home each month from birth until their fifth birthday. The Choir at St. Paul UMC welcomes new members!  All ages & levels of singing experience are welcome & encouraged to come.  Enjoy singing new and old hymns.  Rehearsals are every Wednesday evening 7:30-8:30 pm & Sundays before services, 10:30-11am  “Come make a joyful noise unto the Lord!”

St. Paul received a nice Certificate from Bishop Hope Morgan Ward acknowledging we paid 100% of our apportionments in 2017.  Thank you all who support the connectional ministries of the NC Annual Conference!
