Moore, Family Recruitment Specialist for the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina will be presenting information regarding Foster Care & Adoption opportunities on Fridays, November 10th & December 15th at 6:30pm @ Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse. All are welcome to come and hear more about the children in our community who need us!

The United Methodist Men have voted to change the Monthly Men’s Breakfast, effective in 2018 to meet on the 5th Sunday at 9am; it will be an All-Church breakfast. All are invited! On these particular Sundays, there will be no Sunday School. Here are the dates for 2018:
April 29 – July 29
September 30 – December 30

Playground: Workgroup met 10/19 at the Playset company in Raleigh to look at playsets; plans will be presented for a new playset & more to Finance/Trustees Mtg on 11/5; sprucing up of the existing playground equipment occurred 10/21 & 10/28

Marketing: Phil Bowling is gathering quotes for a new electronic sign to be inserted into the existing metal sign at the front of the church.
