Thanks to all of the Volunteers who worked at the monthly Northgate Park Food Truck Rodeos.
This event is done for the season. Let’s decide if we want to participate in 2018.

The United Methodist Men have voted to change the Monthly Men’s Breakfast, effective in 2018 to meet on the 5th Sunday at 9am; it will be an All-Church breakfast.  All are invited! On these particular Sundays, there will be no Sunday School. Here are the dates for 2018:
April 29 – July 29
September 30 – December 30

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
The United Methodist Men are sponsoring this project. Record your name, phone and the # of boxes taken. Fill each box with appropriate gifts. Return your box(es) to the Church on or before November 12. If you can help with shipping costs, give your money to either Ray Eason or Horace Lane. The children thank you!

ALL OF US: Let’s get the Workgroups together to discuss the plans for the medium and long-term goals for Church Council consideration.
Playground: Workgroup met 10/19 at the Playset company in Raleigh to look at playsets; plans will be presented for a new playset & more to Finance/Trustees Mtg on 11/5; sprucing up of the existing playground equipment occurred 10/21 & 10/28
Website: Our new website has launched! Please take a look and email Marianne @ rmw1@att.net with comments!
Marketing: Phil Bowling is gathering quotes for a new electronic sign to be inserted into the existing metal sign at the front of the church.
We are transforming our community!!
