URBAN MINISTRIES
Have you ever not had food for a day?
Ever slept on a park bench or under a bridge?

Want to help serve the less fortunate in Durham?
On September 24th & November 26th
St. Paul will be serving lunch & helping prepare the evening meal at URBAN MINISTRIES.
We will meet at 11am at Urban Ministries,
410 Liberty St, Durham, NC.

Books, CDs, DVDs, Coloring Books?
What do they have in common? There is a Library in Rainelle, West Virginia that was totally washed out by the recent floods there. The Library has been cleaned, but they have none of the above items. We have been asked to help refill their shelves. If you have any of the above that you would like to donate, we have boxes at each entrance to the Church, or if you have lots of the items, call Richard Ward at 919-943-5566 and Richard will come to your house to pick them up. St. Paul UMC is leading the Children’s Games at Northgate Park’s monthly Food Truck Rodeo from
5:00pm to 8:00pm on the following Thursdays:

Back to School Bash – August 26th – 6 to 8 pm
The Youth Group, under the direction of Gwen Burney, is collecting school supplies for a
“Back to School Bash”
for neighborhood children.
If you can help, please bring school supplies (pens, pencils, markers, notebook paper, notebooks, folders, etc) to church no later than Sunday, August 21st.
Gwen is also looking for donations of hotdogs, chips and soda for the bash.
