Annual Charge Conference
Our Annual Charge Conference will be held on November 8th.
The Conference will meet at Bethany UMC on Guess Road.
Worship begins at 4pm and the Conference starts at 4:45pm. All are encouraged to attend.
World Communion Sunday – October 4th – 10:30am
We are pleased to announce that our guest speaker will be Gary Locklear, UM Conference Lay Leader, who is from Pembroke, NC and is Native American from the Lumbee Indian Tribe. He will be accompanied by Buddy Oxendine and his sister Teresa. They are also from Pembroke and Lumbee Indian. They will provide some special music for us during worship.
Come and celebrate with us World Communion and Our Heritage!
A luncheon will follow the celebration and worship.

Forgiveness: Finding Peace through Letting Go
Join us for a five week exploration of giving & receiving forgiveness using Adam Hamilton’s book Forgiveness: Finding Peace through Letting Go, starting Wednesday, October 21, 2015. There is no cost. Study will be in place of regular Bible Study on 1st & 3rd Wednesday nights, 6:00 – 7:25 P.M. Registration is needed by October 15.

Recovery International (RI) is now meeting weekly at Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8pm. RI is a peer-led self-help meeting. It’s a safe place to talk about life’s challenges and receive support for self-help efforts. OPEN HOUSE – Pastor Michelle will host an open house at her home, 307 E Hammond St (the brick house next to the church), on Saturday, October 10th from 2-4 p.m. This will be a great opportunity to see the remodeled house, pray a blessing over the house, and honor those who worked on and donated to the house.
