We need church volunteers to help prepare the house for
Michelle Osborne, our Associate Pastor.
The house is behind the church at 307 Hammond St. Work has been ongoing this past week and there are many jobs still to be done.
Help needed with:
Additional Painters,window-washing
General Cleaning including: washing kitchen cabinets,
washing walls in shower stall,cleaning floors
any other duties that need attention.

Preparation for Charge Conference
Finance Committee will meet on September 24 at 6:30 pm to compile the budget for 2016.
Budgets: Those responsible for all budget areas, except staff compensation, submit your 2016 budget request to Phil Bowling, Finance Chairman, no later than September 13, 2015.
Day of Renewal
Sunday, September 13, 2015, join us for a Day of Renewal! Worship begins at 10:30 with special music and some memorable events of worship. Evening events begin with a meal at 5:00 p.m. followed by great music and a wonderful visiting pastor. What a glorious day this will be! Come and bring a friend, a neighbor or family member.
Memorial Service and Celebration
Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm, join us as we celebrate the life of Cliff Thompson in worship together. After the worship service, there will be a time of visitation with the family while enjoying refreshments provided by the church. Cliff and Eva were very active members of St. Paul UMC for many years until their health would not allow. Cliff was very instrumental in the planning and preparation of our memorial garden. After the visitation, there will be a private interment of Cliff’s and Eva’s ashes in the garden.

What Can You Do To Help ?
Hannah’s Closet (Opening September 12th)
One of our Life Groups at St. Paul has started a mission project to assist families with children 5 & under who are either transitioning out of homelessness or participating in a homeless prevention program. We are collecting new or gently used (not abused) baby items in the bin in the Narthex. For more info, contact Kim Swanson at kimaswanson@gmail.com
