Financial Peace University: starting up on Thursday nights at 7pm September 20th. The course is an intense nine weeks on Godly money management designed to help all ages.
Bazaar Workshop: Join us in the Cokesbury classroom on Tuesday nights (7-9) and help make crafts to sell at this year’s bazaar.
Don’t Throw It Away: Save those soda can tabs, bottle caps, and Labels for Education found on some brands. The United Methodist Women invite you to join them in collecting the can tabs to help cover the cost of families staying at the Ronald McDonald House; bottle caps to help with the cost of cancer treatment at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital; and Labels for Education to help schools obtain supplies/equipment. Your “collections” can be left in one of the boxes located near the church entrance doors. Thank you. Together we can make a difference in the lives of others.
September 16th: Bishop Ward will be in our district all day. She will meeting with clergy and laity at 4pm at Orange UMC in Chapel Hill.
September 30th: There will be an installation service for Bishop Ward at 4 pm in Edenton St. UMC Raleigh. All are invited to attend.
October 14th: You are invited to attend a Service of Installation for our District Superintendent, Rev. Donna Banks, at 4pm. The place is to be announced at a later date.
