What’s Coming up at St. Paul

Eyeglasses for Haiti: The United Methodist Women thank you for the donations of prescription and reading glasses. They will be sent to Luke’s Mission and given to individuals who need glasses. Know that your gifts will be a blessing for those who receive them. Thank you for caring and participating in this project. What a great way to help others!

Elevator Update: The actual elevator and its’ mechanical components has been ordered. Estimated date of delivery is mid-July. Installation will take approx 4 days. We are also working on installation of the phone line that is part of the elevator’s emergency call box.

Chick-fi-la News: Take part in Cow Appreciation Day. July 13th dress in full Cow costume and get a free meal. Dress in partial Cow costume and get a free Chick-fil-A Sandwich. This is a great event for church participation. Bring your cameras!

Don’t Throw It Away: Save those soda can tabs, bottle caps, and Labels for Education found on some brands. The United Methodist Women invite you to join them in collecting the can tabs to help cover the cost of families staying at the Ronald McDonald House; bottle caps to help with the cost of cancer treatment at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital; and Labels for Education to help schools obtain supplies/equipment. Your “collections” can be left in one of the boxes located near the church entrance doors. Thank you. Together we can make a difference in the lives of others.

Youth Ministry: Starting July 11th. Wednesday Nights are for the youth of the church and community. We need cooks, volunteers, and your love and support to help make this vision a reality. Contact Pastor Steve Murphy if you would like to serve.
