St. Paul’s Homecoming: St. Paul UMC will celebrate 68 years March 4. Join us for worship at 10:30 AM and a covered dish lunch afterwards. This is a great time to renew friendships and make new ones. Invitations are available in the vestibule for sending to those you wish to invite for the occasion. United Methodist Men and Sunday school will not meet that day.

HABITAT HOUSE: Volunteers and monetary donations are needed. Construction on a Habitat home for Belvalon Nicholson and her 3 children begins March 3 at 108 Blacknall Street. Assigned days/duties for St. Paul will be available soon. If you can help with construction, painting, landscaping, and or providing food, contact Linda Lane (919-477-8684; HHLane@AOL.com) Donations are needed to cover the cost of building materials. Checks should be made payable to St. Paul UMC.

New Sunday School Study:”Why” by Adam Hamilton. Glenn Newman will be leading this book study asking the hard question “If God is all powerful how can He allow tragedy and suffering to infest His creation?” Starts February 26th.

District Lay Rally: Feb 26 at 3pm at Mt. Sylvan UMC for all clergy and lay persons in the district. Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse is one of the ministries nominated for outstanding lay ministries of the district. The clergy of the district will provide special music. As this will be the last Lay Rally of the Durham District, we will have a roll call of churches. We hope that all of you will come and support SPUMC and the Durham District.
